I’ve been in software development for over 25 years, working with lots of organizations.
From large organizations like IBM, The Coca-Cola Company, and The Georgia Department of Education, on enterprise level projects, down solo entrepreneurs building their first digital product, and many points in between.
And while I have spent a lot of time over the years working on large projects, with large teams, I’ve found that I am really drawn to working with smaller teams to build great products, which will have big impacts for their organizations.
Highlight Reel
- I rescued a derelict capital expenditure system, performing two releases and bringing total expenditures tracked by the system to over $2b… in only 10 months.
- I transformed a painfully slow, cumbersome, online survey system, which struggled to take in 200,000 surveys per year, into a fast, mobile-friendly system that was expanded to handle over 1.25 million surveys per year.
- I resuscitated two abandoned and never completed mobile app MVPs for a medical device and got them published to Apple App Store and Google Play. Then, I created customer customer portal for monitoring the data collected by the mobile medical device the apps interacted with.
- I was a core team member on a project which transformed a 20-year-old, legacy platform application, which provided legal and financial approval tracking for a Fortune 100 company’s marketing event planning, into a cloud-based, web-first enterprise level application.
